Welcome to my 21st blog on Blogger. Most of them lasted three or four posts; two of them lasted several years.
Anyway. I loved Blogger back in the early 2000s, even before its sale to Google. Most of my online friends had a Blogger blog. It was pretty much the only game in town. Even if you could host your own website, there wasn't a lot out there to choose from. Most of the early CMSes or blogging platforms were built in PHP (WordPress, Drupal, Mambo--now Joomla--etc.), and a lot of ISPs and web hosts didn't offer it yet. Blogger let you sign up and just... go. You could use one of a limited number of themes, or you could design your own.
And surprise: you still can! I know Blogger is doomed, but it's still my favorite. So welcome!
